We have a front door! The plan is for the door to be painted the same colour as the garage door (surfmist). DW believes that the door, being so massive, ‘deserves’ to be stained instead.

The second floor frames and flooring was installed 22-24/04/2013. I was in Sydney for that week but the DW kept me updated with progress photos.
We went to the building site on Anzac day with good friends of ours. While we were there our builder and his wife stopped by the site. A random visit on a public holiday to check on the build progress! Now that is great commitment! The Caboolture Hotondo team really enjoy and take great pride in what they do for a living.
The frames for the lower floor took one day to erect. The carpenters did the work on 19/04/2013.

The builder did a clean-up of the site and some more cutting on 17/04/2013 – leaving us with a site that is a lot more practical.
We’ve had lots of progress over the past 3 weeks!
The plumbing was done on 04 & 05/04/2013.

Preparation for the slab was done on 08 & 09/04/2013.
We put coins, from all the countries that we’ve lived in, into the slab frame. The slab was poured on 10/04/2013. All corners and edges seem to be just perfect!
